LOUTH CHILDREN’S FILM FESTIVAL
9-13 July 2007

The main aim of the first Louth Children’s Film Festival, jointly hosted by Louth Film Club and the Playhouse Cinema, is to give young people the chance to see some classic films in the best environment: on a big screen, in a cinema. But the programme of films has been chosen to appeal to adults too.

The films are suitable for children aged 7 and upwards, with the exception of Hue And Cry, for which we would suggest a minimum age of 9.

As well as shows in the morning and early afternoon for local schools, there will be early evening shows for the general public:

The Railway Children (Monday 9 July, 5.30pm)

Sherlock, Jr + The Electric House + Day Dreams (Tuesday 10 July, 5.30pm)

Hue & Cry (Wednesday 11 July, 5.30pm)

The Borrowers (Thursday 12 July, 5.30pm)

Kirikou Et La Sorcière (Kirikou And The Sorceress) (Friday 13 July, 5.30pm)
