Tsotsi means hoodlum in the South African dialect that this riveting filmís young actors speak. Itís also the nickname of the gang leader who accidentally kidnaps a baby during a robbery. There are some scenes of violence, but this is a beautifully told story with an ultimate message of hope and redemption. Tsotsi won an Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film.
